The new docking station will run the same size as the old dock and support more than 3,000 hours of light use, with up to 40 docking stations provided on all seven boat decks. The main dock will be a 4,500m deep, single-deck cargo space; it will provide 30 more docking stations and will include the main console, port and the port's second row of doors to allow docking in other types of containers or to transfer freight.

The new dock is designed as the first for all boats, and has features that will make any boat a natural fit for docking or transporting cargo. In addition, any dock system will be made of steel reinforced aluminum reinforced with aluminum, and built to withstand up to seven years of hard sea water conditions (see image 19).

The dock's new interior will offer more than 1,200 hours of light usage and a port for the main console, docking station and second row, along with 24 passenger dock seats and four crew platforms. The dock will also come with an interior that houses a digital camera aboard for easy tracking and recording of cargo.
